    Hi Anthony

My name is xenophon from London just wanted to ask some questions re your experience with the Canon 5d MKII. Do you use the Redrock shoulder mount when shooting with the Canon 5d MKII or the micro 2.0. I haven't bought the camera yet but have being doing loads of research. I am delighted about the new firmware update due out today. It will appears that without some sort of steadying equipment it may be difficult to get steady shots; is this true I will be interested to know from your opinion. Also do you use some kind of hood / eye piece like what was shown at the workshop.

The Vincent Laforet workshop looked good I wish I was there.

    Peace out

    Hi Xenophon,

thanks for visiting my site.if you intend on doing any shots that involve moving the camera yes I highly recommend some form of stability. That redrock micro rig is very nice. there is a company called zacuto who also offers rigs as well. I unfortunately can't afford them presently so im forced to live with my tripod and do my best with the handheld. The camera is amazing and now with the update is unstoppable. If you want to achieve the look that this camera offers then why wait. Im sure there will be a better camera with more options in the new year knowing the technology. You could always wait. I just wanted to be ahead of the game and its been a wonderful ride so far. I do not own a hood piece yet. My intention is to get an external monitor and hood that so I can see from multiple angles
