John Hyland and I will be giving a 1 hour presentation next week at the WEVA EXPO in Walt Disney World’s Dolphin Resort in Orlando Florida on Wednesday August 25th, 2010 at 5:00pm.

Many people have heard how amazing social media is and how powerful it can be. I think we are beyond that now and most people realize that. Many people head over to Facebook and Twitter and sign up and realize they know absolutely nothing about how to operate their profile or how to use the application properly. That is where John and I come in. Our presentation is a detailed explanation of many of the key terms that are used on these social media sites like “Hash Tag” “Re-Tweeting” “Checking in” and many other features that Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Youtube and more have. We also will be showing how twitter works and how to use it properly. I have seen many business’s failed attempts at using social media. They sign up and improperly setup a GROUP page on facebook instead of a FAN page.  After a month or so they leave it sitting there with no interaction with their clients and the page goes cold.

John and I will not only show you how to use these tools but what you have to do after your signed up. After WEVA John and I will be continuing our presentation online with video tutorials, live online webcasts answering your questions about anything related to social media.
