Thanks for stopping by Quintano Media’s Blog!
My name is Anthony Quintano I have been working in the media business for the last 10 years. I started out as a television production utility for remote productions like the ESPN winter X Games and the ESPN Great Outdoor Games. After a few years of professional experience working with some of the best camera operators around I purchased my own professional equipment and decided to take matters into my own hands. I established myself as an editor and videographer for Rockland Community College working with Janice Goldstien Director of Television production at the school. I then expanded my experience by working for cablevision local programming. Much of my time was spent shooting local news stories and editing them. I also utilized my photoshop skills and ended up becoming the in house graphic artist as well. This is where I learned how to use the Chyron Duet and Lyric software. Not to long after working with cablevision I was hired by NEP studios at 33rd and 10th in New York City to be 1 of 2 Chyron Duet Operators in the control room working on an ESPN show called Classic Now. After a year of working in a control environment I moved onto working for CNBC in englwood NJ creating graphics for still store on a Deko. During this time I was called for many freelance opportunities with MTV, ESPN, NBC, FOX Sports and more. In that time I was hired to work for IMG Media to create news and entertainment stories for SPRINT mobile cell phones. I was responsible for the entire Chyron Duet Graphics Package for multiple shows.
During all this time I used my equipment that I purchased to film events such as Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Birthday Parties, and Commericals.
I recently upgraded my camera equipment to be ahead of most videographers in the area with the purchase of the SONY PMW EX-1 and the Canon 5d Mark II recording in real High Definition. My services have been in High Demand lately with the popularity of Web Video for websites and Social Media Integration for business and individuals.
Today I have been steadily working with MSNBC and CNBC as a freelance graphic artist while providing my services of event videography and social media integration.
