AIDS WALK 2008

I am participating in Aids walk this year to help the cause and to do it for a dear friend that I lost this year to a fatal accident. I will be walking 6.2 miles in New York City Central Park May 18, 2008. Podcamp Day 1 Here we go

Anthony cooks dinner tonight, parking rules

Today was a beautiful day I took the time to stop and take a photo of the wonderful parking sign that is near our apt explaining the parking rules on our street. Unlike Rockland County where I grew up you could park on the street with no problem. BUT in New Jersey each town has different parking rules for parking on the street. now Everyone is supposed to see these signs before they park overnight in my town. This wonderful sign is parked behind a giant telephone pole which is behind me as im taking this photo. After living in this town for 5 months we never knew we had to get a parking permit. One day I woke up with a phone call from my landlord telling me that I have a parking ticket on my car. Apparently my landlord was supposed to make me aware that we are supposed to have parking permits to park on the street overnight. Well needless to say she didnt and I had to pay the court fees. I immediately got the permit and have not had a problem since.  But I do enforce the rule on my street. If i see someone parking without a permit I am sure to call the police and report them.

Tonight I cooked Chicken Marsala with some garlic bread and broccoli. I usually dont follow the recipe I always try to add my own things. Well tonight I stuck to the recipe and it came out awesome. Here are some pics

for the last 7 months of my life I have been getting up at 2 am to trek into work covering the 3 am to 11 am shift Working on the shows Early Today, First Look, Morning Joe, and Dayside for MSNBC. Now Most of MSNBC is located now at 30 rock in NYC. BUT, there graphics deko still store which is what I do is based in CNBC’s headquarters here in Englewood NJ. so in one room we have one 2 deko machines for MSNBC and on the other side there are 3 deko’s for CNBC. It def. took alot of getting used to getting up so early and trying to function. but Ive managed this far.

1st Whole Foods Experience

wow.. it was so kewl going into this store. tons of fresh produce and pre marinated meats tons of organic food and the high prices. I grabbed a few things like rosemary garlic baget, some olive oil and some waffles and more. It was nice I definately want to try the marinated meats sometime.

It was nice to go somewhere different on my sunday morning ritual of getting kim her coffee and breakfast.

Quiet Saturday

Today I sit here at CNBC Headquarters in englewood NJ working for MSNBC from 1pm to 7pm and I have not built a single graphic. Why I’m here I dont know. But when I can work I will. When I get home I have a massive amount of work that Im catching up on between 2 wedding videos, an expo highlight video, and some dvd to vhs transfers. I just got done watching the movie rendition. last week I also watched the movie Kingdom. Its heart breaking to think of what is going on in this world that I don’t see.

This week coming up Im working like a madman but I do have podcamp to look forward to at the end of the week. Im working 2 double shifts. I have friday off so I can attend podcamp which I will be broadcasting if possible. you ask what podcamp is??? visit www.podcampnyc.org for more information.

I will be broadcasting from the office at home but I will not be talking. just working. I will post a picture of the day when I get home cause the network is firewalled up the wazooo here at cnbc.
