Saturday August 23rd I spent the day filming Sweet Avenue Bake shop 1 year anniversary concert. It was being held in East Rutherford park just around the corner from the shop. I got some great footage that I will be posting this week of some great local performers. Danielle Vance the owner of the bake shop snapped some photos of me hard at work. hating this new lost experince…. missing the old days of the Apollo Candy Bar Hunt
August 19, 2008 by quintanomedia · Comments

2 seasons back ABC did an off season lost experience to give lost fans something to do during the huge hiautus we have been accustomed to with being a die hard lost fan. Well ABC has failed yet again to keep up with the first one with this lousy website www.dharmawantsyou.com so i found the picture I took with the apollo bar I almost did not get. My cousin Dave and I went on a horrible rainy day down to nyc at the finish line to a 1/2 marathon the city was having. we searched all over and found nothing walked around without umbrella’s in the pouring rain hunting this supposed apollo truck down or something even related to it. After an hour of looking we headed back to the car pissed off when suddenly.. I hear ” want a candy bar” from a guy who walked passed me. I turn around and see some regular guy carrying a clear plastic bag with a crap load of apollo candy bars. I yelled over to dave “there he is” we ran up to him and luckily both got them. now unfortunately it didn’t lead to much there was a website link on the candy bar itself. some people were lucky enough to get golden tickets like willy wonka except these tickets did nothing too. It was just the simple fact that you could hunt something down that was real and related to the show. Ahhh the good old days of lost. I discovered the apollo candy bar site is still up also the link that was found on the candy bar as well whereisalvar?
Kim’s 29th Birthday in New York City
August 10, 2008 by quintanomedia · Comments
Kim and I had a wonderful evening in the city. First we ate dinner at a family friends restaurant called Becco
We both had Rib Eye Steaks which were absolutely delicious.
Then we went back to our hotel where we stayed for the evening and changed to get more comfortable we ended up staying at the muse
Very nice hotel very similar to where we stayed in San Francisco. anyway, We headed uptown to 83rd and Amsterdam to Cafe Lalo Which is quite famous and has been in a movie or 2. We also went to that cafe for our 1 year anniversary. Kim had a Raspberry Lindsor Tart, and I just had a plain old brownie with vanilla Ice Cream.
After desert we headed up to the plaza hotel area and picked up a horse carriage ride through the park. We had a great time. Felt like a small stay-cation which was real nice. unfortunately im due next with my 30th birthday coming up September 4th. I can’t believe I’m turning 30
Happy Birthday Kim!!!

A Big Day for Gang Green

I cant express enough how amazing this is and how much it means to me as a die hard jets fan.
The Brett Favre era in Green Bay officially came to an end late Wednesday night as the legendary longtime Packers quarterback was traded to the New York Jets, the Packers announced.
The exact compensation wasn’t immediately available, but it is believed to be a fourth-round draft pick that increases in value depending on how the Jets perform in the 2008 season.
According to the NFL Network, if Favre takes 50 percent of total snaps with the Jets in 2008, the fourth-rounder becomes a third-round pick. If he gets 70 percent of the snaps and the Jets make the playoffs, it becomes a second-round pick; and if he gets 80 percent of snaps and the Jets make the Super Bowl, it becomes a first-round pick.
The Packers had been talking with the Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers since deciding earlier this week that the team and the three-time MVP couldn’t coexist. The Packers decided to move forward with Aaron Rodgers as their starter after Favre announced his retirement in March.
“Brett has had a long and storied career in Green Bay, and the Packers owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude for everything he accomplished on the field and for the impact he made in the state,” Green Bay officials said in a statement.
Favre vs. AFC East
Brett Favre was 1-3 against the New York Jets in his career, but now that he’ll soon be the Jets’ new quarterback, here’s a look at how he fared against the rest of the AFC East.
| Favre | Jets QBs | |
| W-L | 160-93 | 113-140 |
| TD | 440 | 287 |
| Pass Yds Per Game | 242.3 | 195.7 |
Tannenbaum, who said he had a “good” conversation with Favre, wouldn’t speculate as to whether the quarterback will play in New York beyond this season.
“We had discussions with him and his agent, Bus Cook,” Tannenbaum said, “and we’re going into this and we’re going to take this one year at a time and we’re excited to have Brett on the team this year.”
The arrival of Favre signals the end of Chad Pennington’s career with the Jets. Tannenbaum said there would be another transaction regarding Pennington, who spent his first eight seasons with the Jets.
“It’s a bittersweet moment for us,” Tannenbaum said. “I have all the respect in the world for Chad as a person, as a player. We’ve accomplished a lot of good things with Chad. … He gave his heart and soul to this organization for a long, long time. I really appreciate everything he’s done.”
Favre left Green Bay on Wednesday, boarding a private plane that left for Hattiesburg, Miss., at 1:25 p.m. ET with his wife, Deanna, and Cook. Favre’s family home is near Hattiesburg.
In Mississippi, Favre confirmed that he was considering the Jets and Buccaneers.
“We’re working on it,” Favre told Jackson TV station WJTV. “Hopefully, we can get something resolved. I’ve been saying that for quite a while now. I don’t want to say we’re running out of time, but I need to get into a camp somewhere.”
Favre, who is 38, holds most major NFL passing records and led the Packers to the NFC Championship Game last season, where they lost to the New York Giants. Favre threw what would prove to be the decisive interception in overtime.
The Jets went into training camp with an open competition between Pennington and Kellen Clemens after neither established himself in a 4-12 season. Pennington was 1-7 as the starter and was benched midway through the season. Clemens went 3-5, but Pennington actually had the better season statistically.
Meadowlands’ New Tenant
Brett Favre played 255 games with the Packers and had many memorable days at Lambeau Field. Now that he’s headed to New York, here’s how Favre has fared at his new home, the Meadowlands.

Since Brett Favre started his consecutive starts streak (which began on Sept. 27, 1992, and is at 253 games), the Jets have gone through 15 QB starters. Here’s a look at how Favre compares with those Jets QBs.
