Here is a short video of our visit to the rhyolite ghost town. We arrived as the sun was setting so I had very little time to shoot. I was only able to get some quick shots with this storm rolling in. let me know your opinions in the comment section of my site. thank you
Las Vegas Day 4 – Rhyolite Ghost Town, Nevada

Thanks to an amazing video by an amazing cinematographer philip bloom. I discovered this ghost town through a video he shot. Kim and I were dying to see it in person. So we took the hour and a half drive out there near the border of California and Nevada. We had slept in on this day so we didnt get to hit the road until about 5pm by the time we had reached the town the sun had set and these ominous clouds were rolling in over us. Let me tell you it made for some great video clips. It had started to drizzle a bit so I could only grab a few short time lapses. But I manage to get some great pictures. Now since today we are on our way home i don’t have time to post all the photos so I leave you with one to tease you with. I will post more tomorrow since we are set to arrive back in New Jersey at 10pm at jfk. Thank you all for visiting my blog and checking out our travels. I will see you all when I return home. oh I almost forgot. Here is a bit of history to the town we visited click here
Sincerely,
Anthony Quintano
this image was not adjusted in anyway in photoshop. this is the actual photo from the camera.
Las Vegas Day 3

Kim and I headed over to the Bellagio for brunch.. waited about an hour and a half before eating. It was delicious food but I would not wait in line that long for it again. we then headed into the gardens to see it during the day.
After the Bellagio kim and I went to the luxor and saw the titanic exhibit which was actually pretty moving they had this huge piece of the actual side of the ship hanging for display. The exhibit will be there for the next 10 years I would definitely check it out if you haven’t already.
We then went to the other end of the strip to the wynn which was modern, classy and very new. they had some great mojitos in there lake view lounge area to the right of the reception desks. They have a light show which they put on in that lake area at night starting at 8pm they werent that impressive but you do get a different show every hour.
We also caught the shows in front of treasure island and mirage. We werent very pleased with how treasure island has updated thier hotel. the show has basically turned into a strip show and has nothing to do with pirates anymore. They have taken down the skull and bones and replaced their sign with “TI” which isnt all that impressive. Enjoy some of our photos.
click on the image above and you will see more images from our day 3 I just didnt have time to post them
Las Vegas Day 2

Here is a few highlights from our day 2 tour. Kim and I headed out in our rent a car to the Valley of fire which was only about a half hour outside of vegas. We then drove through the park and ended up at lake mead. Drove around the lake till we reached the Hoover Dam. We then had some dinner and made out way over to the stratosphere which was way to crowded so we ended up not going up the tower. We then headed to Fremont St. where we caught a fun live performance of some classic rock while we waiting for the show to start on the ceiling. Turns out for memorial day they did a special slideshow of all the men and women who have served in the armed forces while scrolling all their names. it was very touching.

Jamie Joseph’s Bat Mitzvah
May 17, 2009 by quintanomedia · Comments
I had the wonderful pleasure of filming Jamie’s very special day. The Bat Mitzvah ceremony was one of the most beautiful I have seen with a very emotional touch. Jamie read the Torah like a champ and then celebrated her accomplishments at the Berkely Plaza in Berkely Heights NJ. The party was tons of fun with lots of little kids and adults hamming it up for the camera. I cant wait to go through all the footage I shot for this family. Congratulations Jamie and thank you for choosing me as your videographer on this special day of yours. I also have to thank Scott Kivowitz who introduced me to the joseph’s. I had fun working with scott and his second shooter andrew. I cant wait to see the time lapse they shot of the entire reception.

This was a few firsts for me. This is my first time properly exporting my footage from the EX1 and canon 5d mark II. this video includes shots using both camera’s. Both cameras that I will be using to film weddings from this point forward. I also used After effects for the first time since my certification course. I have to thank Danielle and Jake for inviting me along to this event. Kim and I had a blast tasting all the great food from award winning restaraunts in Northern NJ. I really wanted to put the camera to the test and we got some great footage of these awesome bakers doing their thing. The cupcakes were a hit that evening. If you have yet to try these cupcakes you must visit Sweet Avenue Bake Shop in Rutherford, NJ.
