I think these photos explain themselves. I was facing north in south hackensack New Jersey. I shot these at an Iso of 100 with an F-stop of 8.0 shutter at “30 seconds shooting with an 24-70mm lens.

Shooting the Nintendo event was fun. Even won a copy of the Wii Sports Resort as well. Here are photos of the event. Check out the video adding a little carribean flavor to the Mario Bros theme song.

Sailing with 12 Meter Charters in Newport, Rhode Island

Kim and I took a last minute trip up to Newport Rhode Island Sunday and booked a trip with 12 Meter charters. We were pleasantly welcome by Meredith who we booked the sailing tour with. We were then taken out to the ship via water taxi and sailed out into the harbor on one of the most beautiful days this year. The crew of the boat Jeff, Cedar and Olivia were all very welcoming and friendly and really made the trip a lot of fun. We met a really nice family from Massachusetts as well. We had the boat all to ourselves and enjoyed 2 hours of time on the heritage. While out on the water the Bucket Regatta was just finishing up and all the boats were headed in. Here is a video of our trip. Thank you again 12 Meter Charters for giving us an amazing experience. And thank you Harrison family for great company and the BEER!.

Attended the NJVA Meeting with some special guests

Last night I finally attneded the NJVA meeting run by Adam Mancini and many others. It was an evening full of great topics like social media in the industry and how it will improve your business, some advanced editing techniques from some of the pros, how to get the WOW shots from an award winning videographer, and to top it all off a finish with how the canon 5d mark II is effecting our industry. Many great vendors were there like armatos, adobe, animoto, canon was there with a few of there toys. I found the night to be most valuable networking with many of the other attendees. I also had the pleasure of meeting Lou Kyulynych as well. Here are a few photos from the night.

Day 2 was absolutely awesome. Womens finals took place and I got tons of great photos in between working the event. Here is a taste of one of them. This is Brittany Hochevar serving it up during the final match at the end of the day.
