Bergenfest 2009

Bergenfest 2009 has come to a close and now we look back on the beautiful photography of Jacob Bergmeier who captured the event. Due to the amount of vendors and the short time period of the event we could not capture every vendor and we apologize for this. The Taste of Rockland

On September14th I attended the Taste of Rockland at the Pearl River Hilton in Rockland County New York. Working for ARC foundation I filmed many interviews with tons of fabulous restaurants from the area. Unfortunately I am limited on how long my videos can be online so I did have to leave out a few. Here is the video from last monday’s event.

MTV Video Music Awards iJustine at the VMA’s on top of Radio City Music Hall

I went down to Radio City Music Hall to pay ijustine a visit and snap some photos of her while she was working as a twitter correspondent for MTV. I posted a few tweets to tell her I was down on the corner and she saw me and waved. When they broke for lunch she came down and said hello to me just before I left. Thanks justine for taking the time to come down and say hello. Hope you like the pics and hope to see you again in new york or in san francisco when I come into town in october.

Twestival NYC 2009

Tonight Kim and I made an appearance at Twestival NYC at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, New York. The event was to help support http://www.campinteractive.com. We had a good time at the event but I felt when I walked in that it wasn’t very social. Everyone was busy bowling instead of socializing. I did get the chance to meet two really awesome photographers who were covering the event. twitter.com/julianmackler and Vincent Cornelli. They both grabbed some photos of kim and I together. It was nice to be able to be photographed for once. Kim and I arrived at 7pm and left around 9pm. Dance floor empty Except when Nick Howard performed on stage. Awesome artist check his stuff out at http://www.nickhowardmusic.com. The entire time but the lanes were busy with cliques of people having fun. Felt a bit left out but I wasn’t about to drop $500 to bowl. Yes I know it was a good cause but kim and I are struggling as it is financially we were lucky to even donate what we paid in ticket the ticket price ($20). All in all the event is a really awesome idea but I feel there needs to be more involvement with the people running the event to get people to break the ice. I saw some tweets from people tonight saying how this was the most anti-social social event he had been to0. Thank you again for putting the event on in NY I would definitely attend next year. just hope to actually get to meet more people next time. Jeanna and Brandon Wedding Highlight Video

This is Jeanna and Brandon’s Highlight video. One of the more emotional tear jerkers I have covered since I started weddings. There wasn’t a dry eye in the entire ceremony. see for yourself. Rutherford Labor Day Street Fair 2009, Rutherford New Jersey

Today was a perfect day for an outdoors event and I attended the perfect one, The Rutherford New Jersey Street Fair on Park Ave.. The wonderful smell of grilled food, popcorn and cotton candy filled the air while live music echoed throughout the parks of Rutherford. Thousands packed the streets of this main thorough fair. I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing the local businesses in the area from fabulous restaurants to local merchants.
