Well its been alot of work but the apartment is nice and clean and the baking and turkey prep has begun.


Here are the 2 apple pies. We also have a pumpkin pie in the works at the moment.. will take a photo when its done.

Kim is seen here peeling the yukon gold potatoes for the Mashed potatoes with roasted garlic.
Last night kim prepared the brine and tonight at 10:00 pm I filled our 5 gallon bucket (brand new)
with our brine and 1 gallon of ice water to keep the bacteria out as well as the the salt amount that is in the brine. this will soack in the brine all night tonight.


Now here it is 11:45 pm and I still have to dry the bread for the stuffing and then clean the kitchen for more cooking tomorrow. long night and day tomorrow I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.
