The Taste of Rockland 2009 in Pearl River, New York

On September14th I attended the Taste of Rockland at the Pearl River Hilton in Rockland County New York. Working for ARC foundation I filmed many interviews with tons of fabulous restaurants from the area. Unfortunately I am limited on how long my videos can be online so I did have to leave out a few. Here is the video from last monday’s event.

Matsuya Japanese Steakhouse is a treat to go to when we can. they are a bit pricey but hibachi’s usually are. But thankfully after a wonderful gift card from my in-laws for our anniversary and a %15 coupon for our anniversary we were able to take a night out. It just so happen that my brother in law was there with his wife celebrating her birthday. The food is so delicious from the soup in the beginning to the fried rice, filet mignon, shrimp and noodles. our dinner
I recorded our dinner being cooked for you all to experience. Although my sanyo xacti camera isnt the best in low light.

Finally I finished editing the Bergenfest Highlight video. Now I shot this video with my sanyo xacti which is not the best camera to shoot in low light situations as you can tell by the video. This is not the camera I use to shoot my weddings and events. I only used this camera because it was light and small and able to fit in my pocket so I can take still photos as well with my nikon. Next year I will use my Professional camera for this event. Hopefully I will have HD by then. Enjoy the video and keep coming back because I have much more coming…. a Live concert hosted by sweet avenue bake shop and a live performance by artist Natalie Gelman as well.
